San Francisco::

Good Morning guys. We are here in SF, the weather today is very gloomy. We have an amazing view from our hotel (see photos below) but we can really see much today. Yesterday the weather was so beautiful. We had breakfast at an amazing little restaurant called Mama's on Filbert and Stockton that has been open for 60 years by the same family. The food was delicious and the place was so cute and cozy. Apparently its a very popular spot and there's usually a 1-2 hour wait. We got lucky with a 30 minute wait. You wait outside in a line and when your turn is next you go ahead and order your food at the register, which is part of the kitchen that you can see, kind of like a buffet but you cant touch the food! After you order, you take a seat and wait for you food. So cute. The restaurant is right across a small little park and there's a beautiful church to the right of it. There was a school of children dressed up in their Halloween costumes walking along the park, on a mini field trip. They were the cutest little things.

After breakfast we headed out to Fisherman's Wharf and walked around the Pier. We made friends with the sea lions just lounging on the pier and discovered a very unique toilet system. They have these toilets in the middle of Fisherman's Wharf where you press a button for the door to open, then it closes behind you as you press another button from inside. You do what you have to do and when your done, you press yet another button to get out and as soon as you get out it closes automatically on its own and it cleans the toilet for you and prepares it for the next person. I had never seen a toilet system like that before so I found it to be very interesting. Enough about toilets. After walking around a bit, we took a 30 minute ferry ride  to Sausalito, a small little town across the bay. It was a very cute little town, with shops, and restaurants all around the water. Many people had brought their bikes, something I highly recommend to do.

After Sausalito we headed back and went to the Ferry Building and had a very yummy snack at a tiny little Italian deli. After a few hours we realized how pooped we were so we went to our hotel, rested for awhile and got ready for Asia De Cuba at The be continued....
