Another amazing hotel designed by Interior Designer Kit Kemp is the Knightsbridge Hotel in London. I have actually had the pleasure of staying at this hotel which happens to be one of my mothers favorite hotels of all time. I remember arriving to this hotel when I was about 12 years old and completely falling into a dream. We had been traveling over the summer and London was our last stop, so we were definitely "traveled-out", but as soon as we walked into this hotel I fell in love. It was so welcoming and cozy. The neutral toned furniture and accent pieces. The small tea room with the fire place lit, lights dimmed and a ladder pushed against the wall leading up to a bookcase. The bedroom with a purple and pink striped canopy bed that felt like a cloud as we threw ourselves onto it. We were young and wild, we were lucky enough to be able to visit London and stay in a place such as Knightsbridge, thanks to our mom. I will never forget that hotel. And now, years later, I am able to actually appreciate the time, effort and thought that went into designing such a special place.
