A Manhattan Loft That Breathes::

In the new March issue of Elle Decor, you will see an article and photo spread of Juan Carlos Arcila-Duque’s Manhattan loft. Born in South America, Arcila-Duque's lives both in Miami and New York. He has done a beautiful job with this Manhattan loft, adding a touch of his Latin roots to the overall modern feel. The space looks so clean and by just looking through the photos I feel relaxed and at ease. I love how he has used earth tones and a few splashes of red and orange to add some warmth to the overall white space. Many of the pieces are custom made in Mexico, but he is not shy of using a few items here and there that cut him some slack with a budget. The 2 white chairs in the dining room, in the second photo are from CB2 and the kitchen cabinets are by Ikea (check out the photo here). The designer has done an exquisite job with this Loft and i truly wouldn't mind coming home to that everyday myself!
