Miami Inspired Design::

Hey guys! I am finally back from my trip to Miami. I had a great time, but I was ready to come home after 5 days! The weather on Saturday was amazing, but the rest of the days it was pretty cloudy and humid. Apparently, this was one of Miami's coldest winters. Anyhow, it feels good to be back and into my daily routines. We saw some amazing homes all around Miami beach and it inspired me to blog about homes in Miami. I noticed the use of many bright, bold colors and a lot of amazing outdoor furniture everywhere! It has a very tropical and "spicy" aura, even the locals have some spice to them, especially with the way they talk, with their hands and gestures and they are so confident.
So here are a few photos of some homes and designs in Miami. Definitely not scared to use some color!

These last few photos are of a home designed by Gene Meyer and Frank De Biasi. They designers wanted to give off a Moroccan feel, and they sure did. photos via{housebeautiful}

I came across this fabulous store, Jalan-Jalan, while strolling through the Miami Design District. They had some very unique pieces, lots of cool and neutral color tone items that were very beachy, yet were very good quality designs. Take a look at a few pieces that struck my eye.

These are 3 bar stools, I love the Ikat fabric. So beachy!
These Moroccan poufs were so comfortable and stylish. Great to have at a corner to lay on, or even underneath a coffee table.
