Weekend Recap:

The weather in LA was gorgeous this past weekend, especially in Santa Monica/Marina Del Rey. In the valley it was around the 100's-killer, had to get outta there so we headed over to SM. It was so relaxing, it literally feels like im on vacation every time I head over to that side of town. Saturday night we had dinner at one of my favorite restaurants- La Vecchia on Main St. Food is soo delicious if you haven't ate their before, its a must! Very casual, low key, great vibe and great food. Make sure to get the insalata burrata...
I had been meaning to check out the new mall on the promenade, I finally got to see it today. They have done such a great job, best part is it keeps the rhythm going with 3rd street promenade cause it's an outdoor mall. They had a dj setup by the little "pond" area which was filled to the rim with pebbles. It was packed with people. Some stores you can find at the new Santa Monica place are Kitson, Disney, Tiffany's, Louis Vuitton, True Religion, Barney's CO OP, CB2, Bloomingdales and Nordstrom! The food court overlooks the ocean as well as some portion of Bloomingdales. It's just perfect!
Take a look at some of my photos from this weekend.

good morning!

I found these really fun 4x6 frames that had these clever sentences inside. I actually got 2 of them. I thought they could be fun as a gift. Got them at Kitson.
I started my fall shopping early! Grabbed this fab scarf that happens to be a combination of 2 of my fav things... purple and IKAT!
beautiful "transparent" floral arrangements that hung straight down from the ceiling to the floor at bloomingdales.
floor lamp from CB2
DIY wall art- a large canvas covered with a grainy linen fabric and they hung mini candle holders that form into a diamond shape. CB2

lamb chops on a bed of arugula drizzled with balsamic vinegar and shaved parmesan- La Vecchia...yummmmmm
