I was working on a Typography inspired style board the other day, so it inspired to do this post. I took a typography class my 2nd year in college and I learned a good amount about fonts, typefaces, and letters that I never knew before. For example, I learned that fonts had their own anatomy (see image below)- am I the only one that didn't know that?!
One of our projects in the class was to go outside and find letters made up by nature and take pictures of what we saw and then we had to transfer the letters we found onto a canvas in an abstract form. Once in awhile, I remember that project and start noticing and creating letters out of the objects surrouding me at that moment.
It's crazy what we notice once we stop and pay attention...
